About Chess Pro
Chess Pro brings a traditional chessboard to the browser for a face to face match on one device. Choose Human vs Human, share the mouse, and take turns selecting a piece and its destination. The wooden board uses raised pieces, coordinate labels, and highlighted legal moves to help you follow the position. Visible clocks and turn indicators keep the current state of the game in view.
The goal is to checkmate the opposing king. Before making a move, look at the squares your opponent can attack and consider what will happen after their reply. Moving the pawns beside your king too early can leave a dangerous opening, so balance your attack with a safe position. Both players use the same board rather than separate screens.
A completed checkmate shows the winning color and the game timers. The restart control resets the pieces for another game. An advertisement may appear before play or after restarting; close it when its close control becomes available to return to the board.
