About Chess Online Multiplayer

Chess Online Multiplayer includes a shared board mode for two people playing on the same device. Open the home menu, choose Play together, and confirm that you want to use the app as a board. After choosing the match settings and pressing Start, both sides take turns moving pieces with the same mouse.

The board uses large contrasting pieces and coordinate labels. Click a piece, then click its destination to move it. A move history records the sequence beside the board, and the local match displays a clock for each side. This makes it possible to discuss a position, practice an opening, or simply play a face to face game without a second computer.

The goal is to checkmate the other king. A completed local checkmate marks the winning and losing sides and offers Rematch and New Game controls. Protect your king while developing an attack, and check the last move before choosing your reply. Advertisements may appear during startup, while optional hint, undo, and analysis controls display video symbols. Those optional tools are not needed for the basic local match.

Tips to win

  • Read the move history to confirm the opposing move before planning your reply.
  • Protect the king from early queen attacks; moving the f-pawn and g-pawn can expose a quick checkmate.
